Doctor Who Parody Comic

Thought this was pretty funny!
Also, did you hear about Doctor Stew?? Family Guy was going to sue them because of copyright so they had to stop and delete all the episodes.
Here is a website I found recently-
Comic Who- pretty funny! Should really check it out. :D

hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and more :D

Hey all,
I just read this AMAZING book by Becca Fitzpatrick called 'hush, hush'. It was SO addictive. Only took me one day to read.
In this book, there is an ordinary girl named Nora Grey. She has a friend named Vee, and last year her father was murdered. When the seating plan gets changed in biology class, she gets paired up with the mysterious and cocky transfer named Patch. Patch isn't some ordinary guy- it almost appears as if he's stalking her, as they keep running into each other. Nora isn't happy with the situation- but deep down, that guilty bit of her is pleased. :D Oh, Nora. I'm loving the romance.
This book is really quite addictive, and keeps you reading on. Lot's of stuff happens in this book that'll keep you on edge. I loved it, and I can't wait to read the second book, 'cresendo'. They better make out in the next book though! :D
If you would like a 'silence' widget (third book in the series) I have put one on my blog down on the right. Click 'Share this' to get a URL.

Before 'hush, hush', I read 'Darklight', the second book in the Wondrous Strange Trilogy. I loved the romance between Kelley and Sonny, although I wish they were together more. Another great thing was getting to have more contact with Mabh. I liked her character.
And my heart broke so much at the end, when Kelley lied about not loving Sonny and him leaving when he overheard. Oh, Kelley, you love him so much, you'd say that to protect him.... it's interesting, how Kelley can lie and all other fairies can't. Better keep it secret!

Lately, I have decided to start collecting old Nancy Drew books. Turns out, collecting is a real hassle! There have been SO many printings of them, so many different editions, it's hard to keep track! However, I have been racking my brain searching through so many sites, and I think I've got it. Now, as soon as can get to the used bookstore....
Did you know that there is this thing called Original Text and Revised Text in the Nancy Drew books? It's a funny thing. Books 1-34 were published from 1930-1956, with what is called original text. However, starting in '59, the books were re-written for a more modern audience and for other reasons. This I found very interesting, and I found out that I actually owned 3 Original Text books! So I have decided to compare the texts. At the library today, I got the revised texts of those 3 books, to compare. Now I just need to finish my other books first!
Two very helpful sites that I thank very much:

 http://www.series-books.com/nancydrew/nancydrew.html

 http://www.nancydrewsleuth.com/

Today I went to the library. I got the revised Nancy Drew text books, 'hush, hush' 'Tempestuous' the third book in Wondrous Stange Trilogy by Lesley Livingston, (It's so shiny and new! I think I'm the first to read it! :P) 'What I saw and How I Lied' by Judy Blundell, and 'elixir' by Hilary Duff. I'm planning on reading 'elixir' next- although it annoys me, the huge picture of Hilary Duff on the back of the book. I hate it when books have that. And I was never a huge fan of Hilary, either.

Now- some news from Cassandra Clare's Blog!
  •  'City of Lost Souls', 5th book in the EPIC mortal instruments series, is now set to come out May 8, 2012! Yipee!! Just in time for my birthday! :D
  • New teaser from 'Clockwork Prince':
The fog was thick, muffling sound and sight; whereit parted, Will Herondale could see the street rising ahead of him, slick and wet and black with rain, and hear the voices of the dead.
Not all Shadowhunters could hear ghosts, unless the ghosts chose to be heard, but Will was one of the few who could. As he approached the old cemetery, their voices rose in a ragged musical chorus: wails and pleading, cries and snarls. This was not a peaceful burial ground, but Will knew that; it was not his first visit to the Cross Bones Graveyard near London Bridge. He did his best to block out the noises, hunching his shoulders so that his collar covered his ears, his head down, a fine mist of rain dampening his black hair.
The entrance was halfway down the block: a pair of wrought iron gates set into a high stone wall. Any mundane passing by could see the thick chain that bound the gates shut, and the sign declaring the premises closed—it had been fifteen years since a body was buried here. As Will neared the gates, something no mundane would have seen materialized out of the fog: a great bronze knocker in the shape of a hand, the fingers bony and skeletal. With a grimace, Will reached out one of his own gloved hands and lifted the knocker, letting it fall once, twice, three times, the hollow clank resounding through the night like the rattling chains of Marley's ghost.
Beyond the gates, mist rose like steam from the ground, obscuring the grave markers and long, uneven plots of earth between them. Slowly the mist began to coalesce, taking on an eerie blue glow. Will put his hands to the bars of the gate; the cold of the metal seeped through his gloves, into his bones, and he shivered. It was a more than ordinary cold—when ghosts rose, they drew energy from their surroundings, depriving the air and space around them of heat. The hairs of the back of Will's neck prickled and stood up as the blue mist formed slowly into the shape of an old woman in a ragged dress and white apron, her head bent.
"Hallo, Mol," said Will. "You're looking particularly fine this evening, if I do say so."
The ghost raised her head. Old Molly was a strong spirit, one of the stronger Will had encountered. Even as moonlight speared through a gap in the clouds, she hardly looked transparent: her body was solid, her hair twisted in a thick yellow-gray coil over one shoulder, her rough, red hands braced on her hips. Only her eyes were hollow, twin blue flames flickering in their depths.
"William Herondale," she said. "Back again so soon?"
She moved toward the gate with that gliding motion pecu liar to ghosts. Her feet were bare and filthy, despite the fact that they never touched the ground.
Will leaned against the gate. "You know I missed your pretty face."
She grinned, her eyes flickering, and he caught a glimpse of the skull beneath the half-transparent skin. Overhead, the clouds had closed in on each other again, black and roiling, blocking out the moon. Idly, Will wondered what Old Molly had done to get herself buried here, far from consecrated ground. Most of the whispering voices of the dead belonged to prostitutes, suicides, and stillbirths—those outcast dead who could not be buried in a churchyard. Although Molly had managed to make the situation quite profitable for herself, so perhaps she didn't mind.
She chortled. "What d'you want then, young Shadowhunter? Malphas venom? I 'ave the talon of a Morax demon, polished very fine, the poison at the tip entirely invisible—"
"No," Will said. "That's not what I need. I need Foraii demon powders, ground fine."
Molly turned her head to the side and spat a tendril of blue fire. "Now what's a fine young man like you want with stuff like that?"
Will just sighed inwardly; Molly's protests were part of the bargaining process. Magnus had already sent Will to Old Mol several times now, once for black stinking candles that stuck to his skin like tar, once for the bones of an unborn child, and once for a bag of faeries' eyes which had dripped blood on his shirt. Foraii demon powder sounded pleasant by comparison.
"You think I'm a fool," Molly went on. "This is a trap, innit? You Nephilim catch me selling that sort of stuff, an' it's the stick for Old Mol, it is."
"You're already dead." Will did his best not to sound irritable. "I don't know what you think the Clave could do to you now."
"Pah." Her hollow eyes flamed. "The prisons of the Silent Brothers, beneath the earth, can 'old either the living or the dead; you know that, Will Herondale."
Will held his hands up. "No tricks, old one. Surely you must have heard the rumors running about Downworld. The Clave has other things on its mind than tracking down ghosts who traffic in demon powders and faerie blood." He leaned forward. "I'll give you a good price."
He drew a cambric bag from his pocket and dangled it in the air. It clinked like coins rattling together. "They all fit your description, Mol."
An eager look came over her dead face, and she solidified enough to take the bag from him. She plunged one hand into it and brought her palm out full of rings—gold wedding rings, each tied in a lover's knot at the top. Old Mol, like many ghosts, was always looking for that talisman, than lost piece of her past that would finally allow her to die, the anchor that kept her trapped in the world. In her case, it was her wedding ring. It was common belief, Magnus had told Will, that the ring was long gone, buried under the silty bed of the Thames, but in the meantime she'd take any bag of found rings on the hope one would turn out to be hers. So far it hadn't happened.
She dropped the rings back into the bag, which vanished somewhere on her undead person, and handed him a folded sachet of powder in return. He slipped it into his jacket pocket just as the ghost began to shimmer and fade. "Hold up, there, Mol. That isn't all I have come for, tonight."

The spirit flickered while greed warred with impatience and the effort of remaining visible. Finally, she grunted. "Very well. What else d'you want?"
Will hesitated. This was not something Magnus had sent him for; it was something he wanted to know for himself. "Love potions—"
Old Mol screeched with laughter. "Love potions? For Will Herondale? T'aint my way to turn down payment, but any man who looks like you has got no need of love potions, and that's a fact."
"No," Will said, a little desperation in his voice, "I was looking for the opposite, really—something that might put an end to being in love."
"An 'atred potion?" Mol still sounded amused.
"I was hoping for something more akin to indifference? Toleration . . . ?"
She made a snorting noise, astonishingly human for a ghost. "I 'ardly like to tell you this, Nephilim, but if you want a girl to 'ate you, there's easy enough ways of making it 'appen. You don't need my help with the poor thing."
And with that, she vanished, spinning away into the mists among the graves. Will, looking after her, sighed. "Not for her," he said, under his breath, though there was no one to hear him, "for me . . ." and he leaned his head against the cold iron gate.

  • I have also added a 'Clockwork Prince' widget to my blog at the bottom. Click 'Share' to get the URL

Passion (Fallen #3) by Lauren Kate and Canada Day

  What a delight!
Yesterday was Canada Day! The sun shone through those dreary clouds and gave way to a nationwide celebration! To make it even more splendid, we had the lovely Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Ottawa to highlight the fun day.
Ah, sometime in my future I am determined to spend Canada Day in Ottawa. That'd be a real party! But yesterday, I went with my family to a nearby town that was bristliling with activity. There was a small carnival, a dog talent show, yummy treats, and several great displays of Scottish heritage. You could smell the ocean and observe as people danced in kilts and played their bagpipes.
I went on this cool and really different ride. It's hard to explain. There is a UFO shaped machiene-room-thingy of which you go inside. around on the slanted walls, there's these mats that you just sort of lean againest. My sister and I had no idea what was going to happen, and there was nothing to hold on to, so we gripped our hands underneath the mat.Everyone else was just laying againest them.
So. From the outside, we saw that the "UFO" spinned around, and we were like, what up with that? But on the inside, you couldn't tell at all. It had an illusion of it being on a slant and that was it.
Now here's the cool part. The force it spinning made your body litirely stick to the mat. The force was pulling you back. And the guy in the middle, with all his controls, put a smile on and pushed the button.
The mats went UP! We were stuck on the mats as they went up and our feet left the floor. And guess what? We didn't need to hold on! My face felt like it was being pulled back.
So. We went up and down on this fun ride. And afterwards, I wanted to go on again, but we had to leave.
On the way home, we stopped and had pop and chips at the beach. My sister carved a flower on a rock for me.
Sadly, the fireworks were cancelled because of rain, but this was overall one of my best Canada Days!

Now. Booktalk! I finished Passion. Pretty good!!!
We stepped back in time with Luce, and watched her put the pieces together of her and Daniel's love story. She saw him in different situations with her past soul, watching him and realizing how much he suffered and how his side of the curse was worse.
It's sad how our fun friend Bill the gargoyle was someone else all together. However, it was pretty obvious he wasn't who he seemed. He was Satan, and he is now determined to change the world's past entierely. His plan? Go back in time to when the Angels Fell from heaven. It took nine days for them to Fall. Catch them in the Fall withy announcers. Change history with them.
And it all goes downhill from there....
Daniel, Luce, and the other Angels have nine days to prevent this from happening. Nine days to locate the place where they Fell. Nine days to save the world.
 It's gonna be Hell.
So! Can't wait for Rapture! :) Final book in the series.

Right now, I have just started 'The Summoning' from the Darkest Powers Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong.

Lovely Laptop, yes yes. Also Fallen series by Lauren Kate.

Well, it seems my just LOVELY laptop screwed up, and that's why I haven't posted for a while. I'm not going to bother going back to post about the books I read, but I read some new series like Blue Bloods and the Wicked Lovely series.
Anyways, the other day I was so depressed. I wanted to buy all the books at the bookstore. I got pretty close to buying 3 books that were $20 worth each. But my mother pushed me back to one book.
 So what did I buy?
'Passion', by Lauren Kate! It came out this month, and I was super excited! It is the third book in the Fallen series, which is about a fallen angel and his curse of falling in love with the same girl in all her lifetimes and watching her go up in flames every time.
In the first book, Lucinda Price meets Daniel at Sword and Cross Academy, and falls in love with him, as she unknowingly has for all of her past lives. But insted of bursting into flames when they kiss, she lives. Something has shifted in the curse for this incarnation of Luce. She learns about Daniel being an angel, and the battles that occur between other fallen angels on Earth.
In the second book, Luce is taken to Shoreline, a school for humans to Nephemlim to be hidden from those who want her dead. Daniel is away and fighting for her, and this saddens Luce. She learns more about the shadows that have haunted her all her life, and she realizes how many families have been hurt by her deaths her past lives. In the end, she steps dangerouly into the past, wanting to know about her past lives, despite Daniel's pleas.
So! We find ourself with Passion. Luce is visting some of her past lives, and she has come dangerouly close to altering her future. She is accompained by a "tour guide" named Bill who has taken on the form of a gargoyle. Meanwhile, Daniel is chasing her back through her lives, but she is faster than him.
Right now I am on page 180, and Luce is visting her funeral in Prussia, 1758. She is learning about Daniel, and how he would sleep until her soul would settle somewheres.
Right now, the book is very interesting and sad. She has seen herself die a few times already. And so has Daniel, chasing Luce through the past.

I read CoFA...

... and it was okay.
Now you might be saying, 'How can you call a mortal instruments book OKAY??!!' but it is my least favourite of them all. Not as beautiful.
AND OF COURSE IT WAS A CLIFFHANGER!!! GRR!!!! Tortures me.
But now that i own it, people are asking me to borrow it. I'm nice, 'course I said sure. :) 3 peoples on the list so far.
 So. Spoilers here:

Ah, the two girlfriend thing was so funny with Simon. Like Clary said, he was playing with fire. If Jordan hadn't been in the story, they would've been so much more pissed at her.
Poor Jordan. He didn't mean to bite Maia, and of course she didn't know that. She had formed a monster of Jordan in her mind, and he was never going to stop looking for her. Those two, meant for each other. It was just the whole 'you turned me into this creature and there's no going back' thing. But I think it was actually good that they both got pulled into the world of Downworlders and Shadowhunters. I mean, they were having a bad time with their human lives before, right? Although I suppose they would have just run away into the sunset if that were so. But they did meet Simon and everyone else.
As soon as Clary pictured that rune that took her to the Church of Talto, I knew that was were Clockwork Angel was going to cross. :) Although I thought more would be revealed in this book.
Ah... Jace and Clary making out all the time again. Good times, good times. It was pretty hot.
Oh Isabelle... it made me so sad when she told Simon about her Father and the affair and everything else that her mother told her. She's trying to stay away from love so that her heart won't be broken like other people. I love her and Simon
ARG what"s going on with my keys?? ok they"re not working properly as you can see> I don"t know what"s going on with them> i don"t have caps lock on!!!
Alright, i'll try to continue best as i... HEY! they work again!!! Weird...
ok, shake of the head, back to typing.
I wasn't happy with Alec. Warlocks live FOREVER. Do you know how long that is? Have you lived forever? No. Of course you aren't the only one he would date. Get over it. Good thing he did in the end.
Of course, the cliff hanger. Another thing that ruins Jace & Clary's time together. JEEZ...
 And that's my review! :)

 -Chelsey
I am not happy I ordered Catching Fire from the library, and nobody was borrowing it when I ordered. SO WHERE IS IT??? Other than that, nothing to read that's NEW. ;(

I'm Back

Yeah, It's me! I haven't posted forever cause I didn't feel like it, and nobody was reading my blog anyways. So that's the deal. :)
In that time though, I have read ALOT.
 Here's a list:

And I am now currently reading- *GASP* CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS!!!! YES!!! I FINALLY HAVE MY FRIGGIN HANDS ON IT!! MWA HAHA!!

Holy crap, it's finally here. YES!!

So I had a project this past weekened- sort out all the video tapes. Remember the big, funky video cameras we used to have, with the tapes? That was it. :)
And my oh my, besides all the drooling and snot, wasn't I just the most adorable baby? I was sooooo cute! And funny. :)
Then there was also my sisters. They didn't have the video camera when they were little- I was born much later than them, and they didn't get the video camera until a few years before I was born. So basicly the majority of the videos are JUST ME. (Spotlight!!!) Sorry sissys, but that's how it's done. ;D
But the videos made me miss the family even more. One sister has moved out, the other is in university. And Mom's always at work!!
Mom has always been there for me, putting up with me, and I love her so much. She is the light of my life. :)
And Dad... is Dad. Once he stops being grumpy I'll love him more. XD
I love my family so much. In fact, I'm going to write one of my sister's an e-mail right now. :)

 Cya,
 Chelsey :)

Hi

I haven't been on in a long time.
So I read 'The Host' by Stephenie Meyer. It was.... wow. Very creative and unique! Way differrent from Twilight.
And I guess Steph's writing a second one too. Awesome!
So I FIANALLY got 'Shadow Souls' and I have started it. This should be interesting, Elena, Matt, and Damon in a car to save Stefan. Wonderful mix there.
I also got 'The Hunger Games'. It's supposed to be a really awesome series aparently.
I've been wanting to read 'Wondrous Strange' for a while too. And guess what? Apparently it's at my library. How did I miss it???
Nothing beats this though- 'City of Fallen Angels'. Less than a month, and OMG I'm freaking out. I still have yet to pre-order it, but I saved some Christmas money specially for this. APRIL 5 EVERYBODY!!!!

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

 Heya!
I haven't been on in a while, been real busy.
So after I finished The Forbidden Game trilogy (Which i absolutely adored!!!!) I wanted to head straight to the library for Shadow Souls! But sadly, someone has it out.... *tear*
*BEATS UP PERSON FIGURATELY!!!*
So I didn't really know what to read, since I wasn't in the mood for Harry Potter. So I decided to try Sarah Dessen books, by reading 'Along for the Ride'. And I'm sorry, I just couldn't finish it. It was going way too slow. Plus I really hate her bitchy mother.
I ended up bringing it back to the library, and then I got 'The Host' by Stephenie Meyer. It's really good, and I can tell some big things are going to happen!
So yah, the provincials skating competition is being held in my hometown this weekened!!! YES!!! It's gonna be awesome!!

Anyways, wish me luck in the competition!

Jessica Rules the Dark Side Cover!

 Heya! I read 'Awakened'...
 and ohmigod!!
Jack died... then Zoey's mum died right when she realized the truth... and now Heath's gonna be some friggin' darkness vessel thingee.
So now I read the Forbidden Game Trilogy by L.J. Smith, and I am addicted to it! I am currently starting #2, 'The Chase'.
And guess what? My town is having the 1st annual "24 hour physical activity day". And part of it is called "Pink in the Rink", some kind of fundraiser for breast cancer reasearch being hosted by the hockey team.
Well guess what? When I went to skating practice today... the rink was actually pink. Like, the ICE WAS LITTERATELY PINK.
 Very distracting, skating on it.
I'm also performing for it. :)
So I was online and OMG!! Cover for 'Jessica Rules the Dark Side'!!!!!
Although I don't really like this cover much. The other one is much better. But still!!!
One thing; is that Jessica on the cover or her birth mum? Personally, I think it's her birth mum.

 Anyways, Bye!

"This is bad."
"You said that already."
"It seemed worth repeating."

The Mortal Instruments Quotes

Clare's books are so funny with brilliant quotes. Here are just some of my favs-
"I Dont want to grow up, i want to be an angst ridden teenager who cant confront his own inner demons and takes it out verbally on other people instead" (Jace)

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and then throw it in the
face of the person who gave you the lemons until they give you the
oranges you originally asked for" (Jace)

Jace - "So it's true. You can walk in sunlight"
"I thought perhaps it might have worn off'
Simon - "If i feel the urge to burst into flames, I'll let you know."

It says 'Shadowhunters; looking better in black than the window of our enemies since 1234." [Jace]

"...at least you don't have to worry about rejection, Jace Wayland."
"Not necessarily. I turn myself down occasionally, just to keep it interesting." said Jace.

Jace: A Diary with no drawings of me in it? Where are the torrid fantasies? The romance covers?

"You know, when most girls say they want a big rock, they don't mean, you know, literally a big rock."

"Hi, I'm one of the knife carrying hooligans you met last night in Pandemonium? I'm afraid I made a bad impression and was hoping you'd give me a change to make it up to....-" Simon

"It's the mortal Cup, Jace, not the Mortal Toilet bowl." Said Isabelle, " Are we done now? Can we go?"

The cuckoo bird," she said. "You see, cuckoos are parasites. They lay their eggs in other birds' nests. When the egg hatches, the baby cuckoo pushes the other baby birds out of the nest. The poor parent birds work themselves to death trying to find enough food to feed the enormous cuckoo child who has murdered their babies and taken their places."
"Enormous?" said Jace. "Did you just call me fat?"
"It was an analogy."
"I am not fat."
-- Jace and the Inquisitor

"Is this the part where you start tearing off strips of your shirt to bind my wounds?"
"If you wanted me to rip my clothes off, you should have just asked."
--Clary and Jace

Isabelle looked dubious. "Mom and dad won't be pleased if they find out."
"That you freed a possible criminal by trading away your brother to a warlock who looks like a gay Sonic the Hedgehog and dresses like the Child Catcher from 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'?" Simon inquired. "No, probably not."

"Meanwhile," Simon added, "I wanted to tell you that lately I've been cross-dressing. Also, I'm sleeping with your mom. I thought you should know."

"There is no pretending," Jace said with absolute clarity. "I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there's a life after that, I'll love you then."

"...Have you fallen in love with the wrong person yet?'
Jace said, "Unfortunately, Lady of the Haven, my one true love remains myself."
"At least," she said, "you don't have to worry about rejection, Jace Wayland."
"Not necessarily. I turn myself down occasionally, just to keep it interesting."

"...in fact, don't touch any of my weapons without my permission.'
"Well, there goes my plan for selling them all on ebay," Clary muttered.
"Selling them on what?"
Clary smiled blandly at him, "A mythical place of great magical power."

"Well, you'll have to wait till tomorrow. I'm out of commission." (he points to his shirt) "Look. Jammies."

Isabelle: Investigation? Now we're detectives? Maybe we should all have some code names.
Jace: Good Idea, I shall be Baron Hotschaft Von Hugenstein.

"Jesus!" Luke exclaimed.
"Actually, it's just me," said Simon. "Although I've been told the resemblance is startling."

Jace: Do you remember back at the hotel when you promised that if we lived, you’d get dressed up in a nurse’s outfit and give me a sponge bath?
Clary: It was Simon who promised you the sponge bath.
Simon: As soon as I’m back on my feet, handsome.
Jace: I knew we should have left you a rat.

"Ridiculous isn't it? We would have never all fit."
(after jace and clary have their 'moment' and go to clary's room and see simon)

"One of the Silent Brothers is here to see you. Hodge sent me to wake you up. Actually, he offered to wake you up himself, but since it's five a.m., I figured you'd be less cranky if you had something nice to look at." Jace
"Meaning you?" Clary
"What else?" Jace

"I am a man" he told her, "and men do not consume pink beverages. Get thee gone woman, and bring me something brown."

"No, I'm just a very naughty boy. I do all sorts of bad things. I kick kittens. I make rude gestures at nuns."

Onto Awakened!

I have finished 'Burned' , and it was a pretty good book. I haven't read House of Night in a long time tho, so I had a little trouble getting into it at first. But great book!
Now I'm reading 'Awakened' , as I bought it 40% off! MWA HA HA!
I'm listening to 'One Man Drinking Games' by Mayday Parade. Great Band.
And here we have the complete first chapter of 'City of Fallen Angels'!

So yah, I havven't really got much to say....

Quote from Jace in 'The Mortal Instruments':
"I am a man" he told her, "and men do not consume pink beverages. Get thee gone woman, and bring me something brown."

Done Nightfall

 Heya y'all,
I finished Nightfall from the Vampire Diaries, and... wow. L.J. Smith is an insanely good writer. In a good way. :)
So now Elena, Matt, and of course, Damon, are going on a roadtrip to rescue Stefan. Well, I must say, that should be interesting. ;)
As soon as I can get to the library I'll be grabbing 'Shadow Souls' off the shelve!

So now I am FIANALLY reading Burned, and Zoey has a shattered soul. Will she come back from the Other Side? What will Stevie Rae do with the Raven Mocker that she is sorta in love with? And Dallas? Aphrodite too. Her loyalty is rough.
 We just gotta read!
Yeah, and I got 'The Forbidden Game' trilogy book from Zellers yesterday!! 25% off than from Coles, plus ma SPC card, it only cost $9.91 compared to $13.99!
Now, I seriously gotta stop buying books until 'City of Fallen Angels' comes out. REALLY. XD

I'm Back On!

Yes, I haven't been on in forever. I've been busy.
But in that time span I delisiously gobbled up some books! First of all, I re-read 'City of Glass', and I must say, it was so much more beautiful than I remembered. The love between Jace and Clary is just... amazing. Beautiful. All of the stars.
Re-reading this series has given me oppertunity to remember alot more things, and to see more details than before. Just... wow.

I also gobbled up 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' and 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'. (I do not know if I spelled that right.) In a matter of two days. I couldn't stop reading them! They're really quite different than other books, and I love them!

 So lately I've been reading:
 The Vampire Diaries Return: Nightfall

And I must say; isn't Elena just gorgeous on this cover? I really hated the vampire one of her on the last two books in one. Like seriously, I keep looking and admiring the cover when I'm not reading it.
Although at the beginning of the book, Elena was a little bit... yeah. A new born child. Which I really loved, Stefan and her like that.
And I hate Damon so damn fucking much. He should just screw himself.

OMG!!! I've been on the library list FOREVER waiting for House of Night's 'Burned', and I fianally got it!!! MWA HAHA!!!
Then of course, I can read 'Awakened' right after that, as I got it for 40% off at Superstore. (Go grocery stores that sell cheaper than the bookstore! Yipee!)
I recommend that. Before buying from the bookstore, trying looking at places like Walmart, Zellers, or Superstore. Well, I think Superstore and Zellers are canadian... so some of you... err...never mind! Just look for good deals!

Warriors Special Edition-SkyClan's Destiny

Heya!
So the Warriors books were a huge part of me when I was in Grade 4 and 5. Maybe even a bit of Grade 6. I LOVED them so much!
So lately, I've been re-reading the original series when I can. It goes by fast now; but it's great. It's making me think of re-reading some other books, like Guardians of Ga'Hoole and Dear Canada.
For Christmas I decided to ask for the new Super Edition, SkyClan's Destiny. It looked like a promising book, and it was! It also reminded me of Skyclan again. Now I think I'll read Firestar's Quest another time again.
Well that was it, folks! I am now re-reading City of Glass.

2nd Storm Day

 Yup! School's cancelled again! :)
LOL, though, it's supposed to be a second storm today. But so far it's just flurries. Could change any moment tho.
This morning I got so into Thirst No.2 that I finished it. The end almost made me cry. Alisa....*sniffle*
And Seymour too! Like, he's going to die from AIDS now! Alisa doesn't exist anymore, just a human Sita who lived a human life!
But obviously, something's gonna happen. There's a 3rd No, for Krishina's sake! (lol, Krishina's sake XD) I still don't know if I'm going to buy it, or order from another library, cause I got the first 2 No's from the school library. Meanwhile, I'm planning on re-reading "City of Glass" a second time. I'm freshining my memory by reading the whole series before City of Fallen Angels comes out. (April 5th!! Yippee!)
I hear that Thirst. No 3 The Eternal Dawn was just recently written, unlike the other No's. So I suppose Creatures of Forever (last book in No. 2) was supposed to be the absolute end, until Christopher Pike started writing them again recently. I've been reading some reviews on goodreads.
The ending was a little bit forced, like some others say, on Creatures of Forever. I agree.
 But still awesome!
Again, Christopher Pike reminds me of L.J. Smith. She too, has continued writing her books from a while back. Like seriously, Strange Fate from Night World? That finale book was supposed to come out AGES ago. Left the teens from those days wondering and complaining. And now, it comes out July, after the republication of the other books. Hmm.
The Vampire Diaries too. She's adding new books.
And I SO want to watch that show off of The Vampire Diaries. My friends are always freaking out over it. Apparently it's way different from the books, but still. I don't have it on my TV, so I could try the internet, but my parents would freak out.
BTW, I have a goodreads account (i'm sure you can tell by the widgets lol) and I'm happy to talk on there.
Anyways, I love it when school's cancelled. XD

Storm Day

Heya!
So yah, I guess we're getting a good snow storm. School's cancelled! Yippe! Hopefully it's cancelled tomorow too.
 Just hoping!!
Anyways, last post I said Seymour was a vamp. But I guess not. Had to read the next few pages.
Oh, Kalika!!! Alisa, she is heartbroken.
Anyways, I am on page 426. And now we're talking about UFO's?! Oh my. XD
Although it seems that it's all the time that Alisa underestimates a person, and can't kill as easily. Tsk tsk.
And now almost EVERYONE is stronger or equal to Alisa. Grr!
Still, INSANELY awesome book. A must read.

So am watching the Egypt rebellion, as are many others around the world. I think that Egyptians are doing the right thing, because it is THEIR country. The president shouldn't have a right, as he FAILED. He FAILED Egypt. If Egyptians say they do not want him as president, then he should leave the job. That would be the right thing to do. But of course, DICTATOR. (I like to incorperate DICKHEAD from that)
Here is a video that really touched my heart.

Thirst No.2 (Phantom, Evil Thirst, Creatures of Forever) by Christopher Pike

Heya!
So I've been real busy with skating competition and all, but I finished Thirst No. 1 and started No. 2.
I knew that Alisa had to turn back to vampire. She couldn't live in that world being a human.
It's so sad about Ray! And Kalika too! Alisa was so happy. I mean, I didn't like it cause she was out out her old, cool and awesome character. But she was so happy!
And Seymour? I was going WTF when he died, like, that couldn't happen. Then, of course, I turn the page. Oh. He's a vamp now. XD
So right now I am on page 195. The beggining of Book 2. Whoo-hoo.
I hope she does some awesome vampire moves again!
 Yup! Great series :)

Thirst No. 1 (The Last Vampire, Black Blood, and Red Dice) By Christopher Pike

Hey!

*Cough Cough* I'm sick! I've felt like barfing all day.
So I am currently reading "Thirst No 1" by Christoper Pike. This is a republication of the first three Thirst novels from way back then.
So far it's pretty awesome! I have never read a book where somebody killed so much, which is intense. (not metioning the make-out in the jacuzzi XD)
Mmm... I made cookies. XD But back to the topic on hand...
Right now, I am on Page 391, where Alisa is captured by Eddie and is trying to figure out how to beat him from Krishina's message.
These books are really different for me a bit because of how it's in the point of view of a vampire who has killed without regret many times, and with such a stony but cool point of view. Very rarely does Alisa show emotion.
However, with Ray and other things, we are starting to see her change.
There are two other No.'s in this series so far, and I look forward to reading them. I can also tell that Christoper Pike's writings aren't for the faint of heart (yes, i copied that from the warriors books quote) so when I eventully read "Remember Me" it should be interesting. I don't usually read ghost books!
Also, I feel the need to mention that I really like how authors like L.J. Smith and Christopher Pike are republishing their books. This is a really great way to get the young readers of today reading these books from like, the '90's. I most likely wouldn't have read those books with their old covers. Guess the saying is true!

 Anyways, peace out!
